Good stuff!

Saw that you are thinking of a user interface where the class
hierarchy browser and file browser look the same.  Perhaps
the work I'm doing is of interest-

This is a boilerplate testbed.  It's not meant to look pretty,
it's just to get the underlying infrastructure worked out.
This is not the only way this system could appear- in fact,
the two views shown are both generic, independent of thier
contents.  The contents, not the views, determine the "application".
This is one of about a dozen "applications" currently using
various incarnations of this same infrastructure.
