I don't think there is a port for GEOS, but if anything comes of this plan,
then there will certainly be a need for a learning environment like Squeak
on that platform.

There is a flurry of discussions on this issue on the ZD site; it really
seems to have hit a nerve. Given the fact that the Squeak list itself is
quite busy, I would hope that people direct their opinions on Wal-mart's
business practices to that list (unless of course you are actively pursuing
the Squeak port :-)
