I have no doubt that my discussion of ProtoObject might be completely 
misguided, and would be pleased to substitute any discussion that 
would be appropriate.  I wanted to provide a synopsis of Goldberg's 
excellent discussion of the class hierarchy, but obviously had to 
adjust that section in view of the recent changes.

Thanks very much for this discussion.  Do others agree/disagree with
