Hey! I resemble that remark...

Actaully, it's probably because of a clash between release levels of
software -- RiscOS normally limits filenames to 10 characters and uses '.' as a
directroy separator. However, one if the realy neat things RiscOS can do is
host other filesystems in a really clean way; for example, a zip file or a tar
file is treated as a directory (works nicely for Squeak). I have a guest
filesystem that can allow ~255 char filenames, which I use for Squeak work
since sq so often likes to stick date etc in the fname. When I dragged the fix
file to the mailer for enclosure, it ran into its own limit on name length and
truncated it oddly. C'est la VM.

I doubt it will cause too much trouble if/when Dan wants to file it inm but I
will keep an eye open for it in the future!
