  I didn't find noticable slowdown.  Jun 301 seems to work
almost as fast as 234 for me.  I use it on VWNC 3.0, Windows
95, Diamond Viper V330, PII 300 enviroment.

  I happened to make a contact with Aoki-san yesterday by
email and he said that Jun 301 is slightly slower than the
previous version because of the support of multi-platform in
his email.

  The room example is also as slow as the previous version
for me:-) (3-5 frames (?) per sec when rotating the
viewpoint)

  BTW, I agree that it might and it should run much faster.
Even the benzene example which has only 72 * 12 (= 864)
polygons hardly follows the user interactions. (around 10
frames per sec when rotating.  Who knows where the time
goes?)
