How about a way to ask a swiki for notification when a page changes?
Then individuals could "subscribe" to the pages they were interested in.
Threads then have identity as a swiki URL.  I suppose we would need a way 
to be notified when a brand new thread is "instantiated" (or even about 
to be GC'ed :-)

Of course the hard part is that someone would actually have to *think* 
about sharing, locking, etc. And we'd need some kinda group consensus for 
a sharing model.
