Is there any Linux console Squeak?

Hi Ian and others,

The DOS port of squeak compiles with djgpp using the allegro libraries,
which also has a Linux port. Perhaps this would facilitate an easy port to
the Linux console, using parts of the existing *nix port and the GUI parts
of the DOS port?

DOS port for 2.1 VM is available here:

It shouldn't be too hard to upgrade this to 2.3.

Cheers,
Martin

>(n)curses?:). You bet, I haven't installed X (do I have to tell you why?
