Does anyone know of a good platform independent abstraction (C library) for
threading and module (i.e. DLLs and share object files) handling?  We've
looked at threads.h++, but it's not exactly right (and open source is
preferred)...also, I once came across such a library for handling modules,
but lost the reference.
