Finding a free port?

You wouldn't happen to be the guy who wrote "Learning Perl" published by
O'Reilly?  I really loved that book...  that was the book that started my love
for Perl.  I didn't think any Perl hacks would enjoy Squeak...  most Perl jocks
I know are low level operating systems type people...
