You must compile your own VM though.

[X11] Get "wheelmouse-x.diff" which is a patch for sqXWindows.c
      from http://balloon.cs.uni-magdeburg.de/squeak/wheel/
[ALL] Get "ctrl-scroll-bf.cs" from the same location. Makes scrolling work
      for lists and textpanes in both MVC and Morphic.
