Hi,

  SHARP announced new version of Zaurus PDA yesterday.  The
biggest different from ICRUISE is its LCD: it has 320x240
color reflective LCD (they call it "New Super Mobile LCD").

  Although the resolution is smaller than ICRUISE, in a
sense it might be much more practical platform for Squeak.
It is much smaller, longer battery duration, and outdoor use
ready.

  They say that the contrast of the screen is doubled from
their previous reflective LCD (aka "Super Mobile LCD"),
which is used MI-310 and Business Zaurus.  It sounds realy
cool.  (though, I wonder how they will name the next
generation reflective LCD.)
  
  The much more important thing might be that it is much
cheaper and it is more likely that it will be accepted by
the Zaurus users in Japan. (Note that Zaurus enjoyed
more than 60% market share until a year before and it is
still the best-sell PDA in Japan).

  Imagine a killer app written in Squeak on the small device
is used by more than 400,000 peole... even they might not
aware the application is written in Squeak:-)
