I always found it odd that "word proccessors" know so little about
words.
And its telling that to most CS people, a word is a 16/32/64 bit
integer.
Methinks that linguists would disaggree.
Of course *real* linguist never use the word 'word', except
colloquially.
In ideographic languages, like Kanji, the correspondence is stronger.
Hmmm, I wonder if Wordnet has been mapped to other languages.
