Name is already defined ->category

The class Class has acquired in 2.7 a new instance variable named
category. The method Class>>template: has a method parameter named
category. When I try to redefine Class>>template: I get the error
"Name is already defined ->category". I renamed the parameter
"aSystemCategoryName". Is this what I was supposed to do?
