CLOS, MOP, AOP, SOP

Hi,

Has anyone worked with MOP or other CLOS-ideas in Squeak?

Is somebody interested in this?

Among other things there is the CLOS concept of having a metaclass
associated with classes, not to be confused with the Smalltalk concept
with the same name. This seems to be an opening for trying out different
language ideas within a reasonably ordered basic framework.

Some, in particular Alan Kay, mentions fences in relation to flexibility of
language structures. The CLOS' MOP addressed that, are you not satisfied with
that organisation?

If I understand it correctly the CLOS-people have moved on to AOP. Are
there any hints on getting into this, especially within the Squeak-system?

And then there is the idea called SOP, anything you wish to share on that?

/Mats
