[Bug] Planes in Wonderland seem broken in 2.8a

Totally weird -- it's working for me now!  I tried with 'fred' as the 
Plane name, and it worked, then went back to 'myplane,' and it still 
worked!  I'll dig deeper and see if I can reliably replicate.  Sorry!
