Not that it wouldn't be incredibly hard to make a waterproof ebook
reader.  Heck, it wouldn't be all *that* hard to make a waterproof
laptop.  Dealing with water droplets on the screen is an interesting
subissue...

Anyway, there's theoretical problems with ebooks, and then there's
"haven't gotten around to it yet" problems.  There's also big advantages
to ebooks, especially if the books can be written in something like
Squeak.
