While playing with PluggableLists, I came across PlugableTest class, 
which contains an example of how to use PluggableViews.

So, I, tried the example "PlugableTest open".   SAVE YOUR IMAGE 
BEFORE YOPU TRY THIS.

In Morphic, it hangs the image.  Command-period brings up a notifier, 
but I can't get a debugger, or anything else.

In MVC, it works just fine.  This is in a vanilla 2.8 image and 2.8 VM.
