I did submit the original book proposal to Addison-Wesley.  They came 
back with, "You sure you wouldn't want to do this in Java?"  I said 
no.  They never even replied -- didn't even have the grace to offer 
me a rejection letter. And now the A-W rep actively avoids me.  I 
have the Smalltalk plague, I guess.
