OK, I'll throw in my 2 Turkish Lira.
I find after considering previous submissions and my own experimentation
that I like the smaller style.
The period accentuates the length of the rodent nose, but can be exchanged
for mouth shapes as needed.
If everything else remains constant, then changes to the eyes and mouth
gain significance.
One could even provide a simple text based animation morph.......
