I'd like to add my vote for keeping _ available for other uses. In
particular, in some circles (including me), _method is an indicator of a
"private" method. I know that one can use protocols to identify private
methods, but I find that a bit awkward.
Are those Smalltalk circles?
It's technically illegal in C++ and strongly deprecated in Java.
It would be nice to have private methods whose privacy was enforced.
