[Bug] AppleScript no longer works in 3.0, 3.2

We just tried (from the class comment on Applescript) in 3.0 and 3.2:
		Applescript doIt: 'beep'

And we got the below walkback.  We've tried other Applescript 
commands, and they're all failing.
