This old google archive is great! It even has a reference to my first
encounter with Smalltalk:

This Wednesday, May 11, the TV Ontario program "Bits & Bytes" will contain
an interview with Adele Goldberg of the Xerox Palo Alto Research Centre,
about Smalltalk, Dynabook, and suchlike things. Don't miss it.

Yes, I was in grade six at the time when this came on the air...I still
remember it, too...the ST-80 demo given on this show was presumably done
on an Alto. They showed some kind of neat paint program editing a gorgeous
black-and-white unicorn, the MVC interface at work, and even document editing
(cut/paste/undo was pretty neat at the time). And the book they were editing
was the Blue Book itself! I had never seen anything like it.

I don't recall the Dynabook being mentioned, however.
