Broken Sound on Windows using 3.0gamma

Hi Steve,

This problem will be fixed once I'm 'back in town' (and won't have to upload
a VM from the middle of Kansas ;-) You are probably having the same problem
that Mike reported and it should be fixed with the latest VM.
