This is the root of your problem. There is some security stuff that will be used to protect users from bad effects of untrusted projects. One of the things it will do is to limit what parts of the file system can be seen/modified. What puzzles me is how you got it turned on. What VM are you using? Have you done anything to your system that might affect the SecurityManager?
