Er, sorry: On second reading it looks like my response was
unresponsive to the question actually asked.  I'd just been discussing
the resizing issue, and had it stuck in my head.  I don't have any
idea what the problem would be here.  It works fine for me in all the
2.9 images I have lying around, as well as 3.0.
