I've just published an introduction to the preferences on Bob's
SuperSwiki, project title PreferencesIntroduction.

Included is a tiny fix to PluggableTextMorph that allows (with a
little programmatic legwork) embedding of active Morphs in Workspaces
and such, using TextAnchor attributes.  Not included are the latest
additions to the PreferencesPanel (so it will presumably need updating
prior to final release, if included in the 3.0 distribution).
