Dear squeak list,  I have a what I suspect is a very
simple problem regarding FileStreams.  Hope someone
can help.  

I have a file called test.  test has the following
three sentences.

!the cat sat on the mat.! !the dog lay on the rug.!
!the mouse hid!

I want to be able to edit my file called test so that
it should read 

!the cat sat on the mat.! !the mouse hid.!

"So I am trying to delete the middle chunk.  I have
tried creating a new collection comprising the first
sentence and the last and then writing this back over
the top of the filestream, but then I get the residue
from the orginal text stuck on the end.  )
