This is true (with appropriate translation) on Win'98:

    Alt + shift + blue-button-click brings up the Morph halo

 -- and also:

    Ctrl + shift + blue-button-click brings up the Morph menu directly.

Is there a table somewhere of useful key combinations usable for addressing 
morphic elements?
