[Q] FTPSocket vs. HTPPSocket ?

Well, maybe it shouldn't be.  HTTPSocket is a mess, so using it as a
basis for much of anything is questionable!

A quick try, thuogh, shows that at least a couple of methods are reused.
 Probably these could be pushed up into SimpleClientSocket, however!
