I don't experience this problem. 
The tutorial is good. Some places the text is miss aligned, so it's 
a little hard to read, especially the page where the handles are explained.
I also noticed that the page controls of the book were deleted using the halo.
You can do this with the book menu: hide page controls and it looks even 
better.
