Are tutorials there to confuse?

Hi Compufriend! :-)

Others have already replied with good answers for your questions but one
thing that you should be aware of is that the version you are running -
3.2alpha #4441 is the "bleeding edge".

The word to note here is "bleeding" as in crash/boom/bang. It's the
development front of Squeak and if you live there then you may have to
be prepared for surprises. Now, that said - in this case your problems
seems to have other causes though.

Just a warning for future tutorials! :-)

And btw - regarding Squeak books, a lot of chapters from the Squeak
books are available as pdfs on the net.

And for some other good quality tutorials - www.squeaknews.com. But that
might be out of your reach (credit card etc), check it out though.
