That's my reading of it.
Disney, Sony et al are uncomfortable with the anarchic nature of the
Internet. They would like to change it to a model they know and can profit
from: television or movies. And Microsoft is happy to go along with these
plans (look at Windows XP).
Those of us who don't want to see the Internet turned into yet another cable
TV network need to speak up.
