Thanks for finding bugs in the RB! the problem is that this time you
didn't find one bug but a whole class of them - lots of menu items fail
when no class is selected. 

Your solution is also used in the system Browser (check at the beginning
of each action whether a list item is selected). Even better (clearer to
the user and maybe less code) if irrelevant menus/menu items were just
disabled/grayed out...
