This is likely to be true on any 32-bit RISC architecture.

You got a 15% increase in sends with that amount of work? Compared to the
effort Anthony Hannan put in for his 30-50% this is barely believable. At
this rate, by next Christmas we too will be completing that proverbial
infinite loop in seven seconds.
