Yep, that's where I was planning to put it.

Thanks for the examples. Most of the information on the FFI page 
deals with "why not to use FFI" rather than "how to use FFI." The 
former is valid and useful, and I don't intend to weaken its message, 
but it's not really sufficient to get started.
