without an introductory discussion on c.l.s. and this mailing list. Or did I
miss that one? (it's not a necessary step, but good habit to start discussing
the fact that you want to post an RFD on the 'originating' mailing
lists/newsgroups; it has two main reasons: you can poll interest so you don't
post RFD's that don't stand a chance; and through that you are more likely to
decide to postpone an RFD that doesn't stand a change *yet*. If you fail an
RFD now, people will react allergic when you post the same RFD a year later).
