If I 'accept' on this method definition, the compiler inserts
	 Nothing more expected ->
before the bracketted expression.

Two problems:
(1) The error is not at all shown until the mouse goes out of the
browser and then back in
(2) It appears the window is not refreshed, so the error message
(optically!) overwrites the source code rather than being inserted.
Refreshing the display solves (2).
