OK, so I improved those.

Now I'm down from 4.3 seconds to 3.8 seconds.

Now, does anyone have a clue as to why a 2.8 image on the same VM and 
machine is only taking 2.3 seconds to open (almost) the same menu?

Have we improved Squeak *that* much?
