Using the Squeak 3.2.2 VM under KDE, key events only seem to get through
if the mouse is actually over the Squeak window, rather than all the time
that the Squeak window has focus.  I don't know enough about X11 to
speculate as to why this may be, but I doubt that it's intentional.
