Though I'm not set up to compile a Mac VM yet, I believe the attached 
patch should work to invalidate the directory cache upon directory 
deletion, thereby fixing a bug that is caught by FileDirectoryTests 
when FileDirectory>>exists is defined correctly (that is, as I 
previously posted on the list).

It should be tested first, of course.
