It sounds as though feeling-at-home-in-a-Dutch-home is about as
adequate a translation as one could wish for.  The translation
issue is not a matter of the expressiveness of one language or
another, but simply a consequence of the fact that if you don't
feel at home in Dutch homes you don't ever feel gezellig, though
you might try to imagine what it feels like.

Now let's hear about the Dutch translation of "taiaha", "kereru",
or even the extended sense of "whenua".  (My argument is that translation
by explanation or incorporation is certainly possible, and that the lack
of a direct one-to-one translation is neither unusual nor interesting.)
