	There is the CIL multi language engine on Linux Mono ( .net implementation 
on Linux ).

	I do know a C# compiler is available for it too, and soon C.

	So porting Squeak to CIL would be no problem.

	Cool thing is, the CIL architecture allows multiple language use, so it 
would make say, using other libraries and languages from inside Squeak easy.
