I'm not planning to teach objects-first.  I'm planning to teach a more 
imperative style and introduce objects at the end.  It's not obvious to 
me that objects first is the right approach with non-majors.

Ger: I was wondering about your CRC-approaches in the past with that
cow-tool. Every now and then I am wondering how to bring non-programmers to
the design-area. Again an again I take these old CRC_programs and wonder how
to combine them with the rest of UML..

5 years ago it was hot, now only Martin Fowler wants it in combination with
XP for the scenario-design of the (interface) behavior of a system: Why did
you leave that tool?
