For Linux and FreeBSD (WAS Re: JPEGReadWriter2Plugin - Where can I get a Win32 binary?)

On a side note, I plan on soon embarking on a journey to get 
"JPEGReadWriter2Plugin.so" compiled and running for my RedHat Linux 7.1 
box, as well as my FreeBSD 4.5 box.

Unless, of course, somebody already has "JPEGReadWriter2Plugin.so" for 
those two platforms-- in which case, please let me know.
