Lex has done much of the recent work on makefile related stuff for the
SF/VMMaker code so you'll have to hope he spots this problem report. Do
you feel up to trying to debug it yourself? Is there anything you can
spot in all the makefile.in etc files that suggests the assembly of such
lines?
