This is a tiny fix for a long-standing nuisance in the text editor. 
Hopefully it is correct; the person who put this line in doesn't
remember why it was there, and I haven't been able to locate the
changeset that includes it.

Remove a call to #setEmphasisHere, so that emphasis may be changed again
by typing alt-7, alt-8, etc. before the text is typed.  Without this
changeset, new text is always entered with the font and emphasis of the
