Sorry about ambiguity - yes, I'm seeing this problem under Linux.

I get -
drwxr-sr-x   27 danielv  danielv     28672 Nov 10 01:01 .

I'm running squeak as danielv.

If only it broke and screamed bloody murder, I'd be glad to help with a
debug stack, but it just silently moves on with the install.
