Not only that, but sensible companies may have it as a requirement. One of my
colleague's laptop was stolen, together with 1.5 years of POP3ed business
correspondence. Since then, I have taken to, err, 'convincing' everyone that
reading mail with IMAP is a sensible thing to do, since our mailserver is
subject to a nightly backup ;-).
