Talking about entropy: wouldn't it be an idea to gather entropy in the VM?
It'd be easy to add (for prior art look in the Linux kernel entropy gathering
daemon), and would be a great source for random number seeds. Initialize it
with the current date/time/process id/OS-level entropy and mix in bits when
interrupts are processed etcetera.
