Hi Alan--

	On my iPAQ, I run Squeak in 1024x768 landscape, with zooming and
panning (using the directional hardware button), with a full
"kitchen-sink" image, and the ability to snapshot. It's a 64M machine
using 50M of auxiliary storage. I'd be happy to give you some pointers,
if you'd like.
